Cassi and Donald gave us a nice puddle o' pups on New Year's Day!  They have tow female black & tans, one female dapple, a male dapple, a chocolate male and a red male.  These babies will be ready to go February 14, 2009 and promise to be fantastic, This litter will be CKC registered.

 

Bunny and Cosmo are proud to announce the birth of these two amazing boys. This longhair AKC registered litter was born on December 14, 2008 and will be ready for new homes Feb. 1, 2009.  There is one chocolate & tan male with a blaze on his chest and the other is a cream piebald showstopper. Their dew claws have been removed as well.

  

Mollie and Sonny's litter was born December 16, 2008.  This litter is CKC registered smooth coats and will be ready to go Feb. 3, 2009. The precious little girl (black & tan with chest blaze, pictured separately) is already reserved.  The males are also black & tans.  One has two small white blooms on his chest.  One has a long and thin blaze on his chest.  The last one has a large white blaze on his chest.

  

Dachsie Indulgence Kennels has both CKC and AKC registered dachshunds. We usually wait until the pups are at least 7-8 weeks old and have had at least one set of shots to place them in their new home. We use DWorm (Pyrantel Pamoate),  praziquantal or diclorophene for tapeworms, Vangard Plus 5 or Solo-Jec 7 (distemper, adenovirus t-2, parainfluenza, parvo) and Ivomec (for heartworm) to vet our dogs. K-9 Advantix or Frontline are used for flea control as well. Potential buyers are asked to fill out applications and supply references. We do not ship puppies at this time, but individual delivery arrangements can be made on a one-by-one basis.

Each pup is individual and unique. Most pups will be going to homes as companions. All of these pups will be sold with spay/neuter contracts and their registration papers will be held here until proof of surgical alteration is received by us. Exceptional pups that are show quality or to be used in breeding programs are available at times as well. However, we decide if pups will be sold with full registration and breeding rights. Any responsible breeder will require spay/neuter of the majority of their pups to help prevent unwanted or accidental litters, as well as to ensure the health and well-being of the dogs.

We strive to provide healthy, well socialized, and high quality miniature dachshunds to our clients. Most of our ladies are brought into the house when they begin labor so that most of our pups are born under our careful purview. All puppies are handled daily by kennel staff and our children so that they will be highly socialized and familiar with everyday noises and events. While not every pup will be perfect, we are careful monitor our pups for birth defects and conformation issues. It is our goal here at Dachsie Indulgence to improve the breed as a whole. All pups will be placed for adoption with full disclosure of health status and spay/neuter contract, unless being purchased for breeding or showing. Retiring studs and bitches are sometimes available for adoption as well.
